Xiaomi India launched Mi Max 2 in India for a price of INR 16,999. The device comes with a massive 5300 mAh battery which supports QC 3.0 + parallel charging. Parallel charging results in less heat while quick charging the device. The battery can reach 68% in just 1 hour of charge. The device comes with Sony IMX386 sensor used in Xiaomi flagship device Mi 6.
Mi Max 2 runs on MIUI 8 with Android 7.1.1 under the hood. It has been promised an upgrade to the soon launching MIUI 9.

The Device will be available on Mi.com and Mi Homes from 10AM on 20th July. This is the first device from Xiaomi launching simultaneously on both online and offline channels. Mi Max 2 will be available online through flash sales on other e-commerce websites like Flipkart, Amazon, Tata Cliq and Paytm Mall starting 10AM on 27th July. All the Mi Max 2 phones sold in India are produced under the Make in India initiative.
Mi Max 2 customers will also get up to 100GB of Jio 4G data, which is split over ten recharges of 10GB each of INR 309 and above till May 31, 2018.
